The sewerage system of Maur, which has been blocked for several months, has made life difficult for the city residents and shopkeepers. Sewage water is overflowing at many places in the city. Ward No. 4 of the city Malwa Dukh Nivaran Eye Hospital, Doctor Rame Wala Hospital Wale Bazar, Mauga Studio Wali Street and Government Girls School are facing great difficulty in coming and going due to sewage water standing on the roads. There is so much water standing in front of the gate of the government girls school that children coming to school have to wade through dirty water. The city dwellers are forced to live this hellish life. People are afraid of spreading diseases due to stagnant water. Due to the fact that the issue of sewerage block is under the consideration of the city council, no proper arrangement has been made for the discharge of dirty water.
