
Training provided to Aadhaar operators and supervisors, 125 participated
Patiala, July 19 – The Chandigarh-based Regional Office of UIDAI conducted a one-day state level mega training program for Aadhaar Operators and Supervisors at Punjabi University, Patiala. The event was inaugurated by UIDAI Chandigarh Director Sanjeev Mahajan.

About 125 participants participated in the workshop In which training was given on various issues related to the Aadhaar ecosystem, rules and procedures. Sanjeev Mahajan said that the objective of the training is to enable the Aadhaar operators to perform their duties more efficiently and provide better services to the residents of the state. He emphasized the need for strict adherence to UIDAI norms and latest directives to minimize the possibility of errors and inconvenience to the residents of the state. Various sessions provided an overview of Aadhaar's principles and ecosystem. On this occasion, emphasis was also placed on the updating of documents by all those citizens who have not updated their Aadhaar in the last 10 years.
On the occasion, UIDAI Deputy Director Ashutosh Kaushik said that the workshop has taken an important step to increase the efficiency of Aadhaar operations and ensure high standards of service delivery to the residents of Punjab.
