Nawanshahr - Adoption Agency (SAA) is to be established in District Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar by Punjab Government. This agency assists in the adoption of children. Specialized adoption agencies play an important role in facilitating adoption. Giving this information, Deputy Commissioner Mr. Navjot Pal Singh Randhawa said that the work of this agency is to provide a safe environment for the upbringing of children waiting for adoption. and to ensure that prospective adoptive parents adopt a child following a legal and ethical adoption process. The presence of such an agency in the district will not only streamline the processes of adoption of children but also promote overall child welfare services. Establishment of a specialized adoption agency will contribute significantly to the welfare of orphaned and surrendered children.
 The Deputy Commissioner said that non-governmental organizations (NGOs) working for the welfare of children in the district have been invited to apply for registration as special adoption agencies. In order to get the institution registered by the Adoption Agency/Adoption Agency, the organization's documents can be submitted immediately at District Child Protection Office Room No. 413, 3rd Floor, District Administrative Complex, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar and submit their documents. So that action can be taken to establish an adoption agency in the district.
