Soon, this day was established by the United Nations and celebrated for the first time in the year 1989. Since then World Population Day is celebrated every year to raise awareness about the growing world population. The theme of this year's World Population Day is - Leave No One Behind, Count All. World population has a significant impact on socio-economic development, environmental sustainability and individual well-being. The day is celebrated to raise awareness, encourage action and highlight issues related to impact, and also urges people to choose sustainable options. While a growing population opens up new avenues of opportunity, it can also pose challenges. We need to understand the impact and take measures accordingly. On this occasion, Kamaljit Kaur, Dinesh Kumar, Manjit Singh, Manjot, Kamla Rani, Jaswinder Kaur (Cook) and patients were also present.
