Una, July 15 - To fill the posts that have fallen vacant due to any reason in the Panchayati Raj Institutions, special revision of voter lists is being done in the concerned panchayats. Giving information about this, District Election Officer Panchayat and Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal said that the date for determining the eligibility of a person to include the name in the voter list will be July 1, 2024. He informed that the draft of the voter list has been published. He informed that claims and objections can be submitted before the Revision Authority from July 16 to 22 in this regard. The Revision Authority will settle the claims and objections on July 25. Appeals can be filed before the District Election Officer till July 29. On August 1, the District Election Officer will redress the appeals received in this regard. Apart from this, the final publication of voter lists will be done on August 2.
