During this, ADC Una Mahendra Pal Gurjar was also present. In the meeting, the members placed various problems related to their respective Zila Parishad areas before the respective office heads. During the Zila Parishad meeting, a proposal to get the fencing of the Zila Parishad's Bhadolian Khurd land done for Rs 6 lakh 80 thousand was passed. Apart from this, the approval of income expenditure of the works done by the Zila Parishad from March 11 to June 30, the action plan for the year 2024-25 under the 15th Finance Commission and the supplementary action plan of MNREGA were approved.
In the meeting, the Zila Parishad President requested the concerned department to open the railing in the middle of the road near Ambedkar Bhawan on the state highway in Gram Panchayat Bahdala. Apart from this, she suggested to provide wheat instead of wheat flour in ration depots during the rainy season.
Vice President Krishnapal Sharma said that strict action should be taken against illegal cutting of Khair trees in Kutlahad forest area and those who set forests on fire during summer. He raised the issue of the telecom company not repairing the roads after digging and laying cables on various routes under his area. Apart from this, he demanded providing a small vehicle at the fire station in Bangana under his Zila Parishad area, opening a division of the Electricity Board in Thanakalan and an office of the Agriculture Department, opening a Kanungo circle in Gram Panchayat Raipur Maidan and opening a Patwar circle in Balh and Proiyan.
Zila Parishad member Kamal Saini sought details of the expenditure incurred by the forest department on plantation this year and suggested plantation in MNREGA convergence. During this, the Chief Executive Officer directed the Forest Division Officer to distribute saplings to the Zila Parishad members for plantation. Kamal Saini also demanded action against the mining department for not digging according to the norms by the crushers installed on the river bed. He demanded that people from Punjab should not be allowed to open de-addiction centres in Haroli. He raised the issue of rebuilding the Tahliwal to Bathri road in 15 months. Apart from this, he said that the overloaded tippers running unauthorisedly in the Haroli-Tahliwal area should be challaned.
Member Sushil Kalia suggested that seeds along with fertilizers should be provided under one roof in the cooperative societies in the villages so that there is no problem of shortage of employees.
