Hoshiarpur - On the guidelines of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the district administration has made efforts to solve the complaints and problems of the people by going to their homes and under the program 'Aap di Sarkar, Aap de Dawar' in the Vidhan Sabha Constituency. A joint grievance redressal camp of villages Fuglana, Mehtiana, Mona Kalan and Fadman was organized in the community center of village Fuglana of Chabewal. Meanwhile, Lok Sabha member Dr. Raj Kumar Chabewal specially attended the camp and heard the problems of the people. On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner Komal Mittal, Constituency Incharge and Punjab Scheduled Castes Land Development and Finance Corporation Chairman Harminder Singh Sandhu were also present. During the camp, where people were given the benefit of government schemes and their problems were heard, they were also informed about the anti-drug campaign launched by the Punjab government and encouraged to stay away from drugs.
Dr. Raj Kumar Chabewal said that under this effort of the Punjab government, services are now being provided to the people near their homes. He said that continuous monitoring of these camps is being done by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann himself. He said that these camps are being set up by the Punjab government in all the villages and cities of the entire state, so that government services can be provided to the people near their homes. He said that the Punjab government is preparing schemes keeping in mind the common man, so that the people at the ground level get the benefit of the government schemes. He said that officers and employees of all departments are posted in the camps and they are listening to the problems of the people very carefully and solving them properly. He said that the main objective of these camps is to provide the benefit of the public welfare schemes launched by the Punjab government to the people near their homes and under one roof and to ensure quick resolution of the problems of the citizens. He appealed to the residents of the district and said that maximum benefit should be taken from these camps held at different places.
Constituency in-charge and chairman of Punjab Scheduled Caste Development and Finance Corporation Harminder Singh Sandhu assured the residents that the problems of the people will be solved on priority basis, for which the government departments are reaching out to the people themselves. He said that Chief Minister Punjab Bhagwant Singh Mann's vision is that people should not have to go around government offices for their work, for which such grievance redressal camps are being organized in the entire state.
Deputy Commissioner Komal Mittal said that these camps are being organized two days a week on the instructions of the Chief Minister. He said that instructions have been given to the officials that the complaints which are not resolved on the spot, those complaints should be resolved on time. In this regard, the complaints are being monitored by the concerned SDMs, so that people do not face any kind of trouble.
