In these segregation sheds, solid and liquid waste will be collected separately and sent to industrial units so that plastic waste can be recycled, composted or disposed of properly. This information was given by Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal in a meeting organized to deal with the problem of plastic waste.

He said that every person in the society should fulfill his social responsibility by working for environmental protection. Everyone should become a partner in the campaign being run to save the environment. Not only should one work towards environmental protection himself, but others should also be inspired for this noble work.
Deputy Director DRDA Shailafi Sharma, BDO Una KL Verma, BDO Amb Om Dogra and other officers were present in the meeting.
