Patiala, July 3 - While the Punjab Police has launched a campaign against drug dealers, various programs and seminars are also being organized to educate people against drugs and to encourage the youth to stay away from drugs.
A special awareness seminar was also organized at the local Thapar University under the same series. SSP Patiala Varun Sharma, attending as the chief guest on this occasion, appealed to the people to cooperate with the Punjab Police against the menace of drugs. He said that there is an absolute need for the cooperation of the society to break the drug chain. In his brief address, SP (City) Patiala urged the youth to stay away from drugs and embrace the sports field. He also promised to stay away from drugs during the seminar. On this occasion, free literature was also distributed to sensitize the common people against drugs.
