Mandi Gobindgarh, July 3 – Desh Bhagat University (DBU) celebrated the attainment of NAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) Grade A+ Certificate with a grand felicitation ceremony. Special guests, faculty members, administrative and non-teaching staff attended the felicitation ceremony held at Guru Hargobind Sahib Auditorium.
The function started with the opening speech of Vice Chancellor Dr. Abhijit Joshi. He handed over the NAC certificate to Chancellor Dr. Zora Singh, Pro-Chancellor After which he informed about the difficulties encountered during this journey of getting recognition by Dr. Sandeep Singh Pradhan, Chancellor's Advisor Dr. Varinder Singh, Dr. Harsh Sadavarti Vice President, Dr. SK Patheja DBU. Dr. Abhijit Joshi appreciated everyone's hard work and efforts for this wonderful achievement. Speaking on the occasion, Chancellor Dr. Zora Singh said, “We are delighted to celebrate this important milestone in the history of our university.
The NAAC certificate is a testament to our collective efforts for continuous improvement and excellence in higher education. This motivates us to work even harder to provide the best learning experience for our students." More than 400 faculty and non-teaching staff members were felicitated during the ceremony. Finally Director Academic Dr. Pramod Mandal thanked the organizing committee and all the volunteers.
