Hoshiarpur - Mahila Vigilance Manch has strongly condemned the lathicharge and severe injuries inflicted on women by the police during the demonstration of Gramin Mazdoor Union in Hoshiarpur. During the lathicharge and scuffle, Jalandhar Area Committee member of Mahila Jagriti Manch, Balwinder Kaur fainted.
Due to which she had to be admitted to the hospital. President of Stree Jagriti Manch Gurbakhsh Kaur Sangha, General Secretary Amandeep Kaur Deol and Press Secretary Jasvir Kaur Jassi said that Aam Aadmi Party is taking action against Dalits to take action against the conduct of its MLA. They said that Aam Aadmi Party government is treating Dalits like a step mother. Picking up and putting in jail a labourer youth who asked questions by Aam Aadmi MLA exposes their false defence against Dalits.
On one hand, they are claiming to be pro-Dalit, on the other hand, Anna is behaving like BJP's B team by lathicharging labourers and women during the demonstration for the release of the trade union leaders. Aam Aadmi government's obsession with women is evident from the lathicharge in Hoshiarpur.
