Phillaur - President of Fazilka district committee of Revolutionary Marxist Party of India (RMPI) Ughe Kisan Ghulatie, provincial leader of Jamhuri Kisan Sabha, Sathi Kulwant Singh Kirti, resident of Seed Farm Abohar, passed away this morning. He was suffering from a terminal illness like cancer for the past several years.
He was currently undergoing treatment at the Medical University, Faridkot. The fellow workers continued to fight for the workers till their last breath, ignoring the immense sufferings associated with the disease.
Party General Secretary Mangat Ram Pasla, Punjab State Committee President, Secretary and Cashier Partner Ratan Singh Randhawa, Pratt Singh Jamarai and Prof. Jai Pal Singh, Fellow Central Committee members Raghuvir Singh Batala, Gurnam Singh Dawood and Mahipal,  Gurmej Lal Geji, Secretary of the District Committee, District Committee Member Sahib Sahib Ram, Jagga Singh, Jamal Ram, Teja Singh, Ramesh Vadera and Avtar Singh, who was with Sathi Kulwant Singh Kirti for a long time, shared his grief with Sathi's family, terming their unbearable separation as an irreparable loss to the party and the democratic movement. During this period, fellow workers were the founding leaders of the Democratic Kisan Sabha Punjab.
