Giving further information in this regard, he said that on 25-06-2024 at 4:00 in the evening, three unidentified youths entered the shop of KK Enterprises Western Union at Adda Village Sahlon Police Station Aur with the intention of looting. As a result, firing was done to carry out the robbery. Based on the statement of shopkeeper Pradeep Kumar alias Raju son of Mr. Kewal Krishna resident of Musapur Police Station Sadar Banga District Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar Case No. 46 dated 25-06-2024 A/D 398, 452 B:D, 25-54-59 Under the Arms Act, a case was registered against unknown persons at the Aur police station and the investigation was carried out.
 Keeping in view the sensitivity of the case, taking immediate action to trace the accused, Dr. Makesh Kumar, PPS, Captain Police (Investigation), Mrs. Madhvi Sharma, PPS, Deputy Captain Police, Sub Division Nawanshahr and Mr. Prem Kumar, PPS, Deputy Captain Under the supervision of Police (Investigation) Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar, special teams were formed under the leadership of Inspector Avtar Singh In-charge CIA Staff Nawanshahr and Inspector Naresh Kumari Police Station Aur, as a result of which one of the three unidentified youths involved in the incident, one of the young Gaganpreet Singh alias Gaggu son of Balveer Singh resident of Malpur police station Aur was arrested and the pistol used in the incident 32 bore along with magazine and motorcycle brand Splendor number PB 32-S-2042 used for rake were recovered from him. Before carrying out this incident, members of this gang Navjot Singh alias Monu son of Amrik Singh resident of Khair (Asharwal) police station Mahilpur district Hoshiarpur and Dheeraj Kumar alias Chetan son of Soma Nath resident of Punia police station City Banga district Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar of the place where the incident occurred. Receipt was done. On which the trial was increased under the offense 120-B IPC and the said two accused were also arrested in the trial. An air pistol was recovered from the accused Dheeraj Kumar alias Chetan and a pistol was recovered from the accused Navjot Singh alias Monu and the motorcycle brand TVS Rider used in the incident without number was recovered from the accused. Raids are being conducted to arrest other accused involved in the incident.
During the preliminary interrogation of the accused, it has come to light that the accused are related to the jailed gangster Sandeep Kumar alias Ravi Balachoria.
