Hoshiarpur - Civil Surgeon Hoshiarpur Dr. Balwinder Kumar Damana visited various health institutions of district Hoshiarpur to take stock of the health facilities being provided to the patients. Which includes Aam Aadmi Clinic Basi Ghulam Hussain, Health and Wellness Center Bajwara, Aam Aadmi Clinic Rampur Birdon and CHC Mahilpur.
On this occasion, Program Manager Mr. Muhammad Asif was also present with him. Civil Surgeon Dr. Balvinder Kumar checked the attendance of the staff posted on duty. All the staff were present. Patient records, stock of medicines and cleanliness were specially reviewed by them. They issued instructions to follow rules for disposal of bio medical waste. While reviewing the immunization activities, they also checked the ILR and the vaccine contained in it which was found to be correct.
He instructed the ANMs to take special care of high-risk pregnant women and conduct additional check-ups. 100% completion of ANC-1 and ANC-4 should also be ensured for pregnant women. The Civil Surgeon asked the Medical Officer and other staff to maintain records of operations and patients. They also got information about the services being provided by the patients who came.
He expressed satisfaction regarding the performance, cleanliness and maintenance of records of the staff on duty and asked them to behave well with the patients. He asked to ensure the availability of essential medicines for the patients so that the patients do not face any kind of trouble and all necessary facilities provided by the government to the people can be provided.
