Meanwhile, the police officials briefed the cabinet minister about the investigation of the incident so far and the steps taken to find the culprits. The cabinet minister directed the police department to speed up investigations and strengthen security arrangements. He instructed the officials to investigate the matter thoroughly and arrest the accused immediately. He said that the government is fully committed to ensure that such incidents do not happen again and all possible steps will be taken for the safety of the public. He said that the government will not tolerate such criminal activities at all and will take all possible steps to punish the culprits. The Cabinet Minister assured traders and the public that their safety is the government's priority and police patrolling in the market will be intensified.
