Hoshiarpur - Punjab Cabinet Minister Bram Shankar Jimpa visited and reviewed the incident of robbery at a jeweler's shop in Saranfa Bazar of Hoshiarpur on Sunday morning. Meanwhile, he reached the spot and took stock of the situation and got detailed information about the incident.
He met shopkeepers and local shopkeepers affected by the robbery incident and also heard their problems. He strongly condemned the incident and said that the accused will not be spared under any circumstances and they will be brought to justice as soon as possible.
 Meanwhile, the police officials briefed the cabinet minister about the investigation of the incident so far and the steps taken to find the culprits. The cabinet minister directed the police department to speed up investigations and strengthen security arrangements. He instructed the officials to investigate the matter thoroughly and arrest the accused immediately. He said that the government is fully committed to ensure that such incidents do not happen again and all possible steps will be taken for the safety of the public. He said that the government will not tolerate such criminal activities at all and will take all possible steps to punish the culprits. The Cabinet Minister assured traders and the public that their safety is the government's priority and police patrolling in the market will be intensified.
Meanwhile, the local people's representatives also informed the minister about the problems and needs of the market. Bram Shankar Jimpa assured that all necessary steps will be taken and safety and development works will be given priority in the city. Mayor Surinder Kumar, Councilor Pradeep Kumar Bittu, President of Swarankar Sangh Hoshiarpur Sushil Kumar Padyal, Ajay Verma, Surdarshan Dhir, Mintu Kaushal and other local shopkeepers were also present on this occasion.
