Patiala, June 24 - According to a letter received from the Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India, Deputy Commissioner Shaukat Ahmed Pare said that registration for the Prime Minister's National Child Award can be done through the online portal till July 31, 2024.
 He said that this award is given every year to those children, who have done an act of extraordinary bravery and special children, who have achieved special extraordinary achievements with extraordinary abilities. Similarly, those extraordinary children, who have excelled in the fields of sports, social service, science and technology, environment, art and culture and innovation, deserve recognition at the national level.
He said that the children who are citizens of India and are above 5 years and below 18 years of age as on the last date of application and possess the requisite qualifications, can apply online till 31st July 2024 on the website of Pradhan Mantri National Child Award.
