Himachal government will invest Rs 1000 crore in Bulk Drug Park project - Deputy Chief Minister

Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri said that the Himachal government will invest Rs 1 thousand crore in the ambitious bulk drug park project to be built in Haroli assembly constituency of Una district. The total cost of the project will be borne by the state and central government in the ratio of 50-50 percent. The Himachal government will also be responsible for the operation of the project.

The Deputy Chief Minister gave this information in a public meeting at Badhera in Una district on Sunday. He said that this project will set an example for development and employment generation for the entire state including the district. He said that soon the foundation stone of the administrative block of this project will be laid in Panjuana of Haroli.
Multispecialty Ayurvedic Hospital inaugurated in Badhera
Earlier, Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri inaugurated a 40-bed multispecialty Ayurvedic hospital at Himcaps Nursing College in Badhera. During this, newly elected MLA of Kutlahar Vivek Sharma was also with him.
The hospital will also have facilities of gynecology and obstetrics, emergency medicine and other Ayurvedic medical services along with Panchkarma. Here people will get better medical facilities at concessional rates.
Mukesh Agnihotri said that Ayurveda is the indigenous medical system of India. The government is working with full commitment to promote it in the state. He expressed hope that this hospital will earn fame in the state and the country with its special services. He said that the nursing and law college of Himcaps Society has made its special identity as an excellent educational institution and Badhera has emerged as a big name in the country's map. This is the first college of the state running in the cooperative sector. He expressed hope that the society will now make a name in the field of Ayurveda in the same way. On the demand of the society members, he asked the officials of the Jal Shakti Department to ensure proper arrangement of water in the institute.
Health checkup of 500 people
On this occasion, Mukesh Agnihotri also inaugurated the health check-up camp organized in the hospital. In this camp, senior doctors of Ayurvedic College and Hospital Paprola conducted health check-up of the people. About 500 people of the area took advantage of this facility.
Now Una will generate its own electricity
Mukesh Agnihotri said that Una has now become a power generating district. Along with power generation in the hydro sector, efforts are now being made to exploit the solar energy sector in the state. Una district has become a pioneer in this. The 32 MW solar power project of Himachal Pradesh Power Corporation Limited has been completed in Pekhubela. The Chief Minister will inaugurate it on June 20. Apart from this, the foundation stones of 10 MW Aghlor solar power project and 5 MW Bhanjal solar power project will be laid.
Una moving on the path of progress
He said that Una district has become a hub of industrial development and is moving on the path of progress. Una has become a favorite district for investors to invest capital. The state government is committed to the overall and rapid development of the district. Water projects worth about Rs 1 thousand crore are being done in the district. About Rs 950 crore will be spent on the construction of Mandli-Lathiani bridge in Kutlahar. Approval for this has been received from the central government. Along with various development projects, work is being done for the renovation and beautification of places of religious importance. Rs 125 crore is being spent on the construction of Chintapurni Mata Temple.

District-wide launch of the scheme from Kangar on 19th
Mukesh Agnihotri said that we had talked about giving Rs 1500 each to women from April, but due to the election code of conduct, it had to be postponed. But now this amount is being released from the month of April itself. Beneficiary women will be given Rs 4500 each as lump sum for the quarter from April to June. This scheme will be launched district-wide from Kangar Ground in Haroli on Wednesday, June 19. Social Justice-Empowerment and Health Minister Dr. Colonel Dhaniram Shandil will also specially participate in this program. In this, more than 7 thousand beneficiary women will be given Rs 4500 each as lump sum.
On this occasion, MLA Vivek Sharma said in his address that the Congress government is committed to public welfare and service to the poor. He cited the incomparable development in Haroli area under the leadership of Deputy Chief Minister Shri Mukesh Agnihotri as an example and reiterated his resolve to establish new dimensions of progress in Kutlehar area by taking inspiration from him.
Himcaps Chairperson Vikramjit Singh thanked the Deputy Chief Minister for inaugurating the hospital. He said that Himcaps started its journey in the year 2002, today 700 students are studying in the nursing and law college here. In the coming time, efforts will be made to start BAMS degree course in the nursing college.
On this occasion, District Congress President Ranjeet Singh Rana and Himcaps Vice President Sumit Sharma also expressed their views and thanked the Deputy Chief Minister for the gifts of development.
