Una, June 15 - Himachal government's innovative women-friendly scheme - Indira Gandhi Pyari Behna Sukh Samman Nidhi Yojana will be formally launched in Una district on June 19. Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri will launch this scheme district-wide from Kangar Ground in Haroli on Wednesday, June 19. Social Justice-Empowerment and Health Minister Dr. Colonel Dhaniram Shandil will also specially participate in the program.
Giving this information, District Welfare Officer Anita Sharma said that the program will start at 9 am on Wednesday, June 19 at Kangar Maidan in Haroli. In this, the Deputy Chief Minister will launch the scheme as well as distribute the amount to the beneficiary women.
Let us tell you, under the Indira Gandhi Pyari Behna Sukh-Samman Nidhi Scheme, there is a provision to provide Rs 1500-1500 per month to eligible women above the age of 18 years. In the program, the beneficiary women will be given Rs 4500-4500 by providing the amount of the last 3 months in lump sum. In the first phase of the scheme, 3 crore 27 lakh 60 thousand rupees will be provided to 7 thousand 280 women of the district.
