Patiala, June 13 - In Patiala, a father, angry with his daughter's love marriage, got his son-in-law attacked. In which this man named Sandeep Singh was seriously injured. He is undergoing treatment at Rajindra Hospital. On the statement of Sandeep, Lahori Gate Police Station has registered a case against accused Karnail Singh village Salempur Brahmana, Ashu Singh and 3 other attackers.
A case has been registered against these accused under sections 323, 324, 341, 506, 34, 120B of IPC. Sandeep Singh, admitted in the hospital, told that he had a love marriage with Karnail Singh's daughter 8 months ago. He works at a shop in Rajpura Colony. Like every day, he went to work at the shop, where three youths surrounded him. These youths attacked him with sticks and sharp weapons. Sandeep Singh suffered serious injuries on his head and many parts of the body. According to Sandeep, a few days before the attack, his father-in-law had threatened to teach him a lesson. Sandeep said that he fears that the accused may attack him again. Lahori Gate SHO Shivraj Singh Dhillon said that an FIR has been registered. Raids are being conducted to arrest the accused.
