To refute all these rumours, Som Prakash and Anita Som Prakash held a press conference at their home Urban Estate and first of all thanked the residents of the assembly constituency, their voters and supporters.

On the rumour of not coming to Phagwara, they said that Phagwara city is our own city. We live here and will stay here. Since the year 2009, their family has been continuously serving the Lok Sabha constituency Hoshiarpur and this service will continue in the same way. On the strength of the responsibility given by the Bharatiya Janata Party every time, they have done many development works and will always serve the area. Social worker Anita Som Prakash said that she will continue her social service and soon a public kitchen will be started to provide food to the poor for Rs 10. Addressing the media, Som Prakash said that BJP will win the upcoming corporation elections and panchayat elections with a huge margin. He said that he has started preparations for the 2027 assembly elections and Phagwara, like every time we will win the hearts of the people of Phagwara and win the assembly elections.
