Garhshankar 08 June: On the instructions of SMO Posi Dr. Raghuveer Singh, a malaria camp was organized yesterday under the leadership of Dr. Gurpratap Singh at PHC Binewal Beet. While giving information about malaria to the people in the hospital, Dr. Gurpratap Singh said that we all have to fulfill our responsibility to prevent malaria fever.
Garhshankar 08 June: On the instructions of SMO Posi Dr. Raghuveer Singh, a malaria camp was organized yesterday under the leadership of Dr. Gurpratap Singh at PHC Binewal Beet. While giving information about malaria to the people in the hospital, Dr. Gurpratap Singh said that we all have to fulfill our responsibility to prevent malaria fever. He told that malaria fever spreads due to the bite of female Anopheles mosquito and this mosquito thrives in stagnant water in the morning and night. He said that the symptoms of malaria include fever and shivering with chills, headache with high fever, fatigue and weakness after fever subsides, sweating, contact the nearest hospital immediately if such symptoms are seen. He said that to avoid malaria fever, do not let water accumulate in small pits around the houses, rather fill the pits with soil. He said that sprinkle black oil in stagnant water, wear clothes that cover the body completely and use mosquito net while sleeping. At this time Paramjit Singh Dayal, Mukesh Kumar Joshi, Veena Kumari, Rajveer Kaur, entire staff and villagers were present.
