Nawan Shahr - Dedicated to the 120th birth anniversary of Bhagat Puran Singh, the prophet of human service, a voluntary blood donation camp is being organized on Friday, June 7 at the local BDC. The camp will start at 10 am and will continue till 3 pm. Yuvraj Kalhia, a young social worker associated with the organization, said that one gets comfort by donating blood by keeping Bhagatji's great life in the heart.
He said that according to the rules, healthy persons between the ages of 18 to 65 years whose body weight is not less than 45 kg and hemoglobin is not less than 12.5 gm percent. Can donate blood with a gap of three months from the first donation with medical approval. Youth social worker Yuvraj Kalhia has appealed to the blood donation angels of the area to contribute to make the blood donation camp a success in view of the increased need of blood during the summer season.
