Una, June 4- The counting process of two assembly by-elections 2024 in Una district was completed peacefully. After the counting of votes, the results of Gagret and Kutlehar assembly constituencies were declared. Election Officer SDM Gagret Saumil Gautam announced the results of Gagret. Congress candidate Rakesh Kalia won from Gagret assembly constituency. He defeated his nearest rival BJP candidate Chaitanya Sharma by 8,487 votes. Rakesh Kalia got 35,768 votes, while Chaitanya Sharma got 27,281 votes. Apart from this, independent candidate Amit Vashisht got 570 votes, Ashok Saunkhla got 323 votes, Manohar Lal Sharma got 288 votes, while NOTA got 606 votes. At the same time, the election result of Kutlehar was announced by Election Officer SDM Bangana Sonu Goyal. Congress candidate Vivek Sharma was victorious in Kutlehar assembly constituency. He defeated BJP candidate Devendra Kumar Bhutto by 5,356 votes. Congress candidate Vivek Sharma got 36,853 votes while BJP candidate Devendra Kumar Bhutto got 31,497 votes. Apart from this, independent candidate Chanchal Singh got 300 votes, Rajiv Sharma got 234 votes and 341 votes were cast in favour of NOTA.
