During the program, Core Committee Member of Shri Guru Ravidas Federation Gurcharan Singh former ITO Daljit Singh Threeke, Core Committee Member Sukhdev Singh Happy Mullanpur, Core Committee Member Hardev Singh Boparai National President Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar International Organization said that Dr. Surinder Singh Jhamat has retired from Dhudike after serving for about 27 years and five months. Dr. Surinder Singh was born on 30 May 1966 in village Jhamat District Ludhiana to father Mehar Singh and mother Surjit Kaur. Dr. Surinder Singh received his primary education from his village Jhamat and Government High School, Iali Kalan. After obtaining +2 from Medical College Ludhiana, he joined Dayanand Medical College and Hospital in 1988. On 2 January 1997, he took admission as Medical Officer in PHC Ghanola, Kot Dunan. After this, after 6 months, he served in village Kutba Mahal Kalan. In the year 2003, for higher education, he took admission in MD Pathology course in Government Medical College. After doing MD, he started his services as Medical Officer Pathologist in Civil Hospital Samana in 2006. After this, he served the patients of Jagraon in Civil Hospital Jagraon from the year 2007 to June 2020. In July 2020, he joined the Deputy Medical Commissioner Civil Surgeon Office in Ludhiana. After that, he joined CHC Dhuddike in 2021 and got his retirement from the same institution. The core committee members of Shri Guru Ravidas Federation told that he started his married life with Dr. Kamaldeep Kaur on 30 October 1999 and his family had son Sukhman Singh and daughter Simran Kaur in Phulwari. Who is studying final year of MBBS in Government Medical College, Patiala. It is worth mentioning that 15 medical officers in his family are serving in different fields.
