
Counting of votes will be held at Doaba College Chokra on June 4
Nawanshahr - District Election Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner Navjot Pal Singh Randhawa thanked the people of the district for transparent, fair and peaceful voting in the Lok Sabha constituencies 47-Nawanshahr, 46-Banga and 48-Balachaur of the district for the Lok Sabha elections-2024.
Nawanshahr - District Election Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner Navjot Pal Singh Randhawa thanked the people of the district for transparent, fair and peaceful voting in the Lok Sabha constituencies 47-Nawanshahr, 46-Banga and 48-Balachaur of the district for the Lok Sabha elections-2024. The District Election Officer said that voting has been done in Lok Sabha constituency 06-Anandpur Sahib. In which 65% voting has taken place in Balachaur, 61% in Banga, 60% in Nawanshahr, 60.6% in Anandpur Sahib, 58.13% in Rupnagar. He said that after the voting, the EVM machines have been kept in the strong room amid tight security. The District Election Officer said that the counting of votes will take place on June 4 at Doaba College Chhokra. All preparations have been completed for the counting of votes and tight security arrangements have also been made.
