Monitoring of polling booths through webcasting - District Election Officer Navjot Pal Singh Randhawa

Nawanshahr - District Election Officer cum Deputy Commissioner Navjot Pal Singh Randhawa is keeping an eye on all the polling booths in the district from the Web Casting Control Room at District Administrative Complex Nawanshahr. And at the booths where the polling is low, the sector officer is being immediately called and instructed to encourage people to vote to increase the polling.

And at the booths where the polling is low, the sector officer is being immediately called and instructed to encourage people to vote to increase the polling. He said that at the polling booths where long queues are being formed, instructions are being given to them to increase the speed of voting so that long queues are not formed. For the convenience of voters, voters can get voter information through queue management app. District Election Officer cum Deputy Commissioner Navjot Pal Singh Randhawa said that for the convenience of the voters, all the arrangements of polling booths, coolers, fans, chabeel etc. have been made. He said that he himself has visited the polling booths and the voting process is going on in a very good, fair, transparent and peaceful manner at all the polling booths. He said that according to the way people are showing enthusiasm to vote, the voting percentage will pass from 75. Assistant Commissioner General Gurleen Kaur, Good Governance Fellow Ashmita, Nodal Officer Web Casting Raj Kumar were also present on this occasion.
