Una, August 20. Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal administered the oath of social harmony and unity to the officers and employees of the district administration on the occasion of Sadbhavna Diwas today (Tuesday). In this ceremony organized in the premises of the Deputy Commissioner's office, he paid tribute to late Rajiv Gandhi by laying flowers on his portrait. It is worth noting that the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister late Rajiv Gandhi is celebrated as Sadbhavna Diwas.
Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal called upon all officers and employees to strengthen the emotional unity and goodwill of the country without discriminating on the basis of caste, community, region, religion or language. He urged everyone to be ready to help each other along with creating a violence-free society and play an active role in building the society by doing noble work.
On this occasion, Additional Deputy Commissioner Mahendra Pal Gurjar, Assistant Commissioner Virendra Sharma, DSP Ajay Thakur, CPO Sanjay Sankhyan, DRO Ajay and all the officers and employees of the Deputy Commissioner's office offered flowers to the portrait of late Rajiv Gandhi and took the goodwill oath.
