Una, March 18 - Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal inspected various sectors of the Holi fair going on at Dera Baba Badbhag Singh Maidi on Monday and took stock of all the arrangements made. He directed the officials to provide clean drinking water to the devotees coming to the fair and also took stock of the temporary parking arrangements made in the fair area.
On this occasion, the Deputy Commissioner said that during the fair, he urged the devotees coming through goods vehicles from neighboring states not to travel in tempos, trolleys, tractors and trucks so that any untoward incident can be avoided. He has also appealed to the devotees coming to the fair to take special care of cleanliness in the fair premises and not to spread filth.
On this occasion, SDM Amb Vivek Mahajan, SDM Gagret Somil Gagret, DSP Vasudha Sood, Tehsildar Prem Chand and other officers were present.
