
Message of 100% voting from 'Marathon for Democracy' in Una
Una, May 31 - With the objective of ensuring 100% participation of voters in the Lok Sabha general election and 2 assembly by-elections in Una district, 'Marathon for Democracy' was organized in Una city on May 31 on the eve of polling day. District Election Officer Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal flagged off this marathon organized under SVEEP to increase voter participation in the elections on June 1. The marathon started from Indira Ground in Una and concluded at the old bus stand.

On this occasion, the Deputy Commissioner made people aware of the use of voting rights and appealed to the people to come out of their homes and vote on June 1. He said that every vote is precious in strengthening democracy. Voting is not only our responsibility, but it is also our right. By contributing to this election, we can all move towards a strong and secure future.
The District Election Officer appealed to all the voters of the district to vote 100%. He asked people to ensure their participation in this festival of elections with their entire family on June 1. Let us tell you, voting will be held on June 1 from 7 am to 6 pm. Counting of votes will be done on June 4.
Youths were seen very excited
On the occasion of the marathon, Una residents were seen committed to ensure equal participation in the festival of elections. People spread the message of awareness by walking step by step. Especially the youth showed great enthusiasm in this race organized to spread the message of voting. Teenagers of sports hostel participated enthusiastically in the marathon.
