Nawanshahr - Shri Kamaljit Singh Dhaliwal CJM (Secretary Legal Services Authority, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar) visited Red Cross De-addiction and Rehabilitation Centre, Nawanshahr.
Project Director of the Center Chaman Singh inaugurated the program. He first thanked Honorable CJM Kamaljit Singh Dhaliwal for visiting the center and explained about the activities and facilities provided by the center. He introduced himself to the staff members as well as the customers.
     Addressing the people present on this occasion, he said that drug addiction is such a disaster which makes a person mentally ill. He interacted with the patients and inquired about the facilities provided by the center and expressed his satisfaction. He said that May 30 is being celebrated as No Tobacco Day. The ill effects of tobacco were explained and the passersby were urged to stay away from the drug so that we can create a better future for ourselves. He said that we should keep company of good people and friends. He said help is near, just hold on to it. 
He told the patients that if they have any court case like real estate case, divorce case, fraud etc. then they can contact him anytime and avail the free facilities provided by the government. Sagar, Rohit, Jaswinder Kaur, Manjeet Singh, Kamaljeet Kaur, Harpreet Kaur, Dinesh Kumar, Manjot, Kamla Rani and the patient were present on this occasion.
