SAS Nagar, May 27 - Mr. Subhash Sharma, the candidate contesting on BJP ticket from Lok Sabha constituency Shri Anandpur Sahib, and Shri Sanjeev Vashishtha, District President of Bharatiya Janata Party, were weighed with laddus by villagers, party leaders and workers in village Shampur.

On this occasion, Dr. Subhash Sharma said that due to the incompetence of the previous governments, the villages of the area have lagged behind in terms of development. He said that after winning the elections, he will talk to the Central Government and bring a special package for the constituency so that the villages of the constituency can be developed. He said that along with bringing any big project of the Center to Anandpur Sahib, Mohali should also be made an IT hub like Bengaluru.

He said that the AAP government has set the state back by many years in terms of development and instead of taking Punjab forward, the state government has left Punjab far behind in terms of development. He said that the Aam Aadmi Party government has broken the expectations of the people and it will have to bear the consequences of this in the Lok Sabha elections.
