Nawanshahr - To prepare for the Lok Sabha Elections 2024, the orders of Chief Electoral Officer Punjab, the guidelines of Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Election Officer Navjot Pal Singh Randhawa and the able leadership of Additional Deputy Commissioner-cum-Nodal Officer Rajeev Verma, the District Education Officer (SEO) District Sweep Nodal Officer Satnam Singh Sunni and Computer Faculty Unkar Singh addressed the staff and SMC members present under the leadership of Government High School Mahalon Headmistress Neelam Rani regarding Lok Sabha Elections 2024 and said that Lok Sabha Election-2024 is being celebrated as "Our Mission-Green Election". 
Under which he said that they should make their family members, neighborhood, relatives and street-mohalla voters aware that they should plant one sapling before or after voting on the occasion of the grand festival of democracy on June 1 in district Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar. To inspire and they themselves must plant one plant. During this election also to minimize the use of plastic or materials made from plastic, stop burning wheat or stubble, conserve air, water, soil and ensure the use of organic and organic fertilizers. Thoughts were discussed. 
The main slogan of Election 2024 is "Our vote is green vote". About which all the students and staff were informed. Sweep Nodal Officer Satnam Singh Sunni said that we should be a part of the election festival, the pride of the country. And to fulfill the mission of “This time, District Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar Pajhattar Par” voters should be made aware to cast every vote. The Chief Guest was thanked by Headmistress Neelam Rani   And said that the staff members of my school and all the students will be a part of this grand festival of democracy. Karamjit Kaur, Gurpreet Singh, Jatinder Singh, Amarjit Singh, Harkesh Kumar, Gurdeep Kaur, Amita Vandana etc were present on this occasion.
