Una, August 7-  Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal reviewed the progress of various development projects in Una district. In a meeting with the concerned officers on Wednesday, he directed to complete the ongoing projects in a time-bound manner and to complete all the formalities of those projects whose work has not yet started.
Jatin Lal reviewed the progress of the work of the PGI Satellite Center under construction in Malahat and directed to complete it expeditiously. He informed that the tender for the 200 meter underpass to be built on the road in Malahat has been allotted and the construction work will be started from September 15. He directed the National Highways Authority of India to pay special attention to the quality in the construction work and complete the work within the stipulated time frame. The Deputy Commissioner directed to complete all the formalities regarding the construction of Lathiani-Mandali bridge expeditiously. He directed the officers that if there is any departmental obstruction or delay in NOC, then ensure to submit its report to the office so that there is no inconvenience in the construction of the bridge.
The Deputy Commissioner directed to speed up the construction work of Kendriya Vidyalaya in Bangana so that children can get a good building and a conducive environment for studies. He also directed to complete the work of Critical Care Block in the Regional Hospital soon so that people can get better and proper health facilities. He also took details of the work of the Modern Dairy Farm being built in Basal. The marking work related to the dairy farm has been completed, and the work of construction of its boundary wall has been started.
Apart from this, other developmental works going on in the district were also discussed in detail.
On this occasion, ADC Mahendra Pal Gurjar, Assistant Commissioner Varinder Sharma, Joint Director Industries Anshul Dhiman, District Revenue Officer Ajay Kumar, MOH Dr. Sukhdeep Singh Sidhu, XEN PWD Baldev Singh and other officers were present.
