Jatin Lal said that as a precautionary measure to protect the health of small school children due to the severe heat wave in the district, it has been decided to keep all government and private primary and pre-primary schools in the district closed on May 27 and 28.
According to the order, in schools where examinations are scheduled on May 27 and 28, the examinations have been asked to be conducted from 7 am to 11 am. Instructions have also been given to provide all the facilities like drinking water, fans, coolers or air conditioning in the examination halls in the schools. Apart from this, to ensure the availability of first aid kits and doctors or nurses for immediate treatment in case of heat stroke in any case of heat stroke. Instructions have also been given to provide proper information about emergency procedures to the school staff and students.
Jatin Lal has instructed the officials of the Education Department to ensure strict compliance with the order.
