Sari (Canada), May 23 - Ghazal Forum Sari organized a melodious musical evening at Reflection Banquet & Conference Center Sari yesterday in which ghazal singers Sukhdev Sahil, Parakhjit Singh, Dr. Randeep Malhotra and Meshi Bangar presented their melodious tunes. Performed very well. A beautiful musical atmosphere was created and there was a lot of fun. The stage dedicated this evening of ghazals to the late poet Surjit Patar. At the beginning of the program, stage speaker Rajwant Raj paid emotional tribute to the great Punjabi poet Surjit Patar and expressed grief over his sudden demise. Everyone paid tribute to the late poet by observing a minute's silence.
In the beginning of the melodious evening, young singer Parakhjeet Singh gave a unique presentation of his talent, artistry and musical insight with two ghazals ('Yeh kis tara ki roshni aaundhi hai shehar se', 'Pata nahi kini ka door jaana hai..') Enthralled the audience. Next singer Dr. Randeep Malhotra shared his deep understanding of Ghazal and expressed his emotions with the audience through his art. New York's Meshi Bangar also impressed the audience. He presented the ghazals of the poets of Ghazal Manch Sari very beautifully.
   Famous singer Sukhdev Sahil, who came from California, paid tribute to Surjeet Patar Hunan's ghazal 'Balda Birkh Ha, Khatm Ha, Bas Sham Tak Ha...' Naal Unan Nu, 'Kite Ooh Bakt Si Main Door To Pehchan Latte' Tha/, Aje Masla Meri Pehchan Da Hai', Nazaran Hi Si Kuj Aisa Ki Saare Dekhde Rah Gaye', Kise Barsaat Da Iko Talaa Bich Bhar Gaya Pani' etc. gained appreciation from the audience with very emotional and charming ghazals. His presentations reflecting the depth of vast experience and artistry created a heart-touching wave of musical waves in the minds of the audience and the audience enjoyed and wowed every poem of Sahil. 
Guest lyricist Preet Sangredi also enthralled the audience with his poetry. The beautiful performance of Sukhdev Sahil and Parakhjit Singh was the highlight of this melodious evening which will enthrall the audience with musical notes for a long time. The biggest support for this musical evening was from Jeetendra J Minhas and he expressed his happiness and promised to continue such collaboration. Ghazal singers and associates were honored by the stage. In the end, Ghazal Manch President Jaswinder thanked for the tremendous response received from the audience, colleagues and media personalities and said that the platform will continue such programs in future also.
