Patiala, May 17 - Addressing a program organized by District Bar Association, BJP candidate from Patiala Lok Sabha seat Praneet Kaur said that the main basis of my victory in the Lok Sabha elections will be the trust of the people of Patiala. He said that this trust was not built in a day. For the last 25 years, he has been continuously sharing the joys and sorrows of Patiala residents.
Entire Patiala is also sharing in the sorrows and joys of his family. He said that I have always considered this trust built on the basis of mutual support as my strength. This is the reason why today Aam Aadmi Party, Congress and Akali Dal are united against me, but despite this the confidence of the people of Patiala is giving me the strength to fight these three opposition parties. Praneet Kaur recalled the support given by her and Captain Amarinder Singh in the District Bar Association and said that the people of Patiala are fighting this Lok Sabha election on their own basis.

   Addressing the gathering of lawyers, Praneet Kaur said that at the time there was an alliance between the BJP and the Akali Dal. Even then, Patiala was not included in the BJP. This is the first time that Bharatiya Janata Party has fielded him as Lok Sabha candidate from Patiala. The people of Patiala have got an opportunity to increase the power of Narendra Modi and this opportunity can be fully utilized in the Lok Sabha elections to be held on June 1. He said that he thought it better to be a part of BJP to get Punjab out of difficult times.

  BJP candidate Praneet Kaur said that the demand for building an underpath on Mall Road near Capital Cinema, keeping in mind the convenience and safety of the people coming to the district court and the lawyers' community, which gives people their rights through law, has reached them. He will make all possible efforts to fulfill this demand immediately after the victory in the Lok Sabha elections. He said that for the convenience of the lawyer community in Baradri, former mayor Sanjeev Sharma Bittu had provided a fixed parking lot, which the lawyer community has got full benefit from. Praneet Kaur while talking to reporters on this occasion said that the farmers have the right to struggle or protest for the fulfillment of their demands. He said that all the demands of the farmers are completely legitimate, but the Modi government will try to fulfill every legitimate demand of the farmers as soon as it becomes the Prime Minister for the third time. He said that based on what he knows about BJP, he can confidently say that BJP is not the enemy of Punjab. The future of Punjab can be secured only through BJP or Narendra Modi. In response to a question, he said that the current Mann government is getting all the grants from the Centre, but it has got into the habit of criticizing the Modi government.
