SAS Nagar, May 13 - Lions Club Mohali SAS Nagar (Reg.) and Leo Club Mohali Smiling organized a Dental Health Checkup Camp at Government Primary School, Village- Bakarpur, Aerocity in collaboration with Civil Hospital Phase-6, Mohali. District Education Officer Shri Prem Kumar Mittal attended as the chief guest on this occasion.
The spokesperson of the club said that under the chairmanship of Amandeep Singh Gulati, president of Lions Club Mohali and under the supervision of SMO Dr. HS Cheema and Dr. Parneet Grewal of Government Hospital, about 215 children's teeth were examined in the camp. Checkup was done. Referral cards were given to the school children by Civil Hospital and some children who need further treatment were advised to come and get treatment at 6 Phase Civil Hospital. And appreciated the services rendered by Lions Club Mohali to the society.
On this occasion, under the guidance of Dr. Harpreet Kaur (District Nodal Officer, National Oral Health Program) and doctors, all the children were given a demonstration of brushing technique. On this occasion, Dr. Amit Agarwal (Assistant Professor), Dr. Anupreet Kaur (Medical Officer), Dr. Hardeshwar Singh, Dr. Gurjot Kaur, Amit Narula (Secretary) from Lions Club, Jaswinder Singh, Kuldeep Singh and Jitinder Bansal, Gurpreet Singh from Leo Club, AYUSH Bhasin, Hardeep Singh, Headmaster Jasbir Singh and school staff were present.
