Hoshiarpur - In view of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections-2024, the expenditure observer Pawan Kumar Khaitan, posted by the Election Commission of India for the Hoshiarpur constituency, reached Hoshiarpur today. Meanwhile, he along with Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Election Officer Komal Mittal visited the various cells set up for the Lok Sabha elections at the district administrative complex.
Meanwhile, he inspected the Election Control Room, Election Expenditure Monitoring Cell, Nomination Center, Media Monitoring Cell and Web Casting Cell. It may be mentioned that Expenditure Observer Pawan Kumar Khaitan is a senior IRS officer of 2008 batch and is posted in the Customs and GST Department in Maharashtra. Tehsildar Elections Sarabjit Singh, Election Kanugo Deepak Kumar, District System Manager Charan Kamal Singh, Mangesh Sood, Aditya Rana and other officials were present on this occasion.
