Hoshiarpur - Addressing a huge rally, BJP leaders counted the failures of Congress and AAP and the achievements of the Modi government. Jaspreet Jassa, the leader of Aam Aadmi Party's youth wing of village Handowal Kalan of Hoshiarpur Vidhan Sabha constituency Chabewal, along with hundreds of his young colleagues, has announced to leave the broom of AAP and join the BJP. Mrs. Anita Som Prakash, Union Minister of State Mr. Som Prakash, former Cabinet Minister Tikshan Sood, Lok Sabha in-charge Parveen Bansal and Vidhan Sabha convener Dr. Dilbagh Rai joined the BJP by putting on BJP mufflers.
Chabewal Mandal President Mangat Ram, Extension Officer Vijay Bhatia, District Secretary Dheeraj Ari, Kisan Morcha President Avtar Singh Dandia and Yashpal Sharma were also present on this occasion. The youth present at the massive election campaign rally raised slogans of Bharatiya Janata Party and promised to help Mrs. Anita Som Prakash to form Narendra Modi's government. On this occasion, Mr. Som Prakash said that after becoming a Member of Parliament, he has arranged to build a medical college, four-way road network, railway station, railway platform and medical college in Hoshiarpur.
  All this has become possible only because of the pro-development thinking of the Modi government. Mrs. Anita Som Prakash said that she will share in every happiness and sorrow of the residents of Handowal and complete the projects started by Mr. Som Prakash. Mr. Tikshan Sood said that thanks to the work done by the Modi government for the welfare of the poor, about 40 crore people have come out of the poverty line and India has become an economic power from 11th to 5th. The Modi government has won the hearts of Punjabis by opening the corridor of Sri Kartarpur Sahib, celebrating Bir-Bal Day in memory of the Sahibzades and punishing the culprits of the 84 Sikh massacre.
Dr. Dilbagh Roy said that the youth joining the party will get full respect. On this occasion, Shri Praveen Bansal and other BJP leaders expressed their views. Hundreds of people including Parshotam Sharma, Iqbal Singh Sangha, Sourav Sharma, Sunny, Gursevak Singh, Fakir Chand and Mrs. Neelam Sharma etc. were present on this occasion.
