He said that the condition of this constituency, which has given many ministers to the central and state governments and even the Chief Minister of Punjab, is that even now the people of the island do not have basic facilities and due to the lack of roads and bridges, people are forced to cross the river. Boats have to be used to do this. He said that the life of the people living on the banks of the river in Chief Minister Channi's constituency and Bir area is very difficult.

He said that the problem of illegal mining and drugs in the constituency has increased more than before and this is causing social problems. Unemployment is at its peak in the constituency and youth are migrating to foreign countries due to lack of employment. He said that after winning the election, where new projects will be brought for the constituency, work will be done at the ground level to solve the problem of unemployment.

When asked how strong is his claim of victory from this seat after he lost this seat despite the Modi wave in 2019 and the Akali BJP alliance?
