During this time, any voter can go to his polling station and confirm his name in the voter list with photo, get any entry corrected in the voter list, remove the names of ineligible/dead persons from the voter list or vote from one polling station to another in the constituency. To get the name transferred at the centre, one can fill the appropriate forms (Form-6, 6, 7 and 8) and submit the claims/objections to the concerned designated officers/booth level officers. He said that the voters who are unable to read their names in the voter list, their names will be read out in front of everyone by the concerned booth label officer. During the campaign, the Booth Level Agent appointed polling station wise by the recognized political parties, after meeting with the concerned Booth Level Officer, submits suggestions and applications regarding including the names of the missing eligible citizens in the voter list and removing the names of ineligible persons from the voter list, under the direction of the Election Commission. -Can be given under instructions so that the voter list can be made error free and updated for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Apart from this, he said that merely having a voter photo identity card does not guarantee a person the right to vote, but it is also mandatory for the citizen's name to be registered in the voter list of the concerned polling station. If the name of any eligible citizen is not registered in the voter list, then he should get his name registered in the voter list by filling the prescribed Form-6 so that he is not deprived of exercising his franchise in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
