SAS Nagar, May 31 - The administration today sent the polling teams of 251 booths under Mohali from the stadium located in local sector 78 to the polling booths along with electronic voting machines and other equipment for the elections to be held tomorrow on June 1. done On this occasion, Returning Officer and SDM Mohali Mr. Dipankar Garg said that 251 polling booths have been constructed in Mohali Assembly constituency for which these teams are being sent. He said that these teams will now return only after voting and special arrangements have been made for these teams keeping in mind the summer season.
On this occasion, refreshments and food were also arranged for the polling teams and security personnel and they were sent to the polling booths by bus.
On this occasion, SP City Shri Harbir Singh Atwal said that special arrangements have been made by the police for the security of these teams and polling booths. He said that the number of sensitive booths in the constituency is 10. He said that 600 police personnel have been deployed for this work along with central security forces personnel will also perform security duty.
