Kapurthala - District President of "AAP" Trade Wing from Kapurthala and District Coordinator of "AAP" Trade Wing Kapurthala, besides serving as an international poet, Mr. Kanwar Iqbal Singh ji, who stands shoulder to shoulder with the people of Punjab from time to time.
  It is worth mentioning that Kanwar Iqbal Singh has been practicing his poetry for the past 16 and seventeen years in the National Punjabi Poet Darbars being held at the Red Fort in Delhi after the partition of India and Pakistan by Punjabi Akademi Delhi, an institution of the Delhi government. Written songs are also included in children's textbooks.

He is also serving as a senior member of the newly constituted 21-member committee of "Urdu Academy Malerkotla" under the guidance of Punjab Government.
        For the last seven-eight years Mr. Kanwar Iqbal Singh ji is fully active in the service of humanity as the district president of Punjab Human Rights Organizations Kapurthala, he helps in reducing the burden of police stations and courts!
  While doing many other positions and services in the literary, social, religious and political fields, Kanwar ji is also rendering his worthy services as the Chairman of "Government Girls Senior Secondary Smart School Ghanta Ghar Kapurthala"! As a prominent social worker, he went to different schools and colleges with his team and encouraged children to write and speak Punjabi and from time to time, with the support of institutions like the Department of Language Punjab and teachers of different schools, children wrote Punjabi poems, stories and essays etc. Along with writing, they keep conducting song and ghazal singing competitions, with which children's enthusiasm increases and they move forward to create a good society!
