Hoshiarpur - About 400 school students and well-known people of the city participated today on the occasion of the International Yoga Day by the District Yoga Association, including the President of the Association and Senior President of the National Yoga Federation, Dr. Tikshan Sood. On Yoga Day everyone participated in Yoga activities and Yoga Guru Gianananda, Anita Jaswal, Priya Sharma and Kush Sharma conducted various Yoga activities. The program was started by lighting candles by the chief guests. On this occasion Tikshan Sood said that the District Yoga Association is striving to bring the very valuable system of yoga started in India to the people. Apart from celebrating Yoga Day every year, yoga asana competitions are also conducted. In which hundreds of children participate. Yoga gurus of the association also visit schools and teach yoga, due to which yoga is getting a lot of encouragement in Hoshiarpur.
