He said that the villagers have given written applications many times regarding the demand of installing lights at Grecian Chowk but the corporation has not paid any attention. Accidents are happening daily at this square and many people have lost their lives in this square. He said that property tax will not be allowed until the village gets full urban facilities.

On this occasion, the villagers said that the government's guarantees of giving five to five marle plots to the poor, old age pension of Rs.2500, and Rs.1000 per month to women have completely failed. On this occasion, Baljit Singh, a resident of the village, said that his nephew was about to build a small house, but the Municipal Corporation has stopped him from putting a roof on it and the Municipal Corporation Inspector is threatening to seize the house, while on the other hand, the village is without anyone.
