He said that under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, new LPG At the time of issue of connection, all beneficiaries will receive first refill and LPG. Both stoves will be provided free of charge as well as connection. He said that under this scheme only those families will be eligible who have not got the benefit of gas connection under the first phase of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana.
He said that Scheduled Caste families, Scheduled Tribe families, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural), Most Backward Classes, Antodya Anan Yojana (AAY), Tea and Former Tea Garden Tribes, Forest dwellers, dwellers. Eligible on islands and river islands. People belonging to SECC family (AHL, TIN and poor family as per 14-point declaration) will be eligible. To avail the scheme, he said, KYC form, identity card and address certificate, to ensure family structure of the state in which Ration card issued by the state, along with application form/any other document from the state government attesting to the composition of the family/self declaration form (in case of migrant family only) and documents like bank account number and IFSC code are mandatory. .
Mahendra Pal Gurjar said that women from poor families who do not have gas connection can do EKYC on the prescribed form. In case of a migrant family, the applicant will have to submit a self-declaration of being a migrant, proof of family structure and address. In such a case, eKYC/Aadhaar authentication will be mandatory for all connections registered under the scheme. To avail the benefit of the scheme, eligible households can submit the application form online/directly to CSC/Helpdesk/Gas Distributor.
