Hoshiarpur - Rotary Eye Bank and Cornea Transplant Society organized Eye Donation Awareness Seminar under the chairmanship of President and prominent social worker Sanjeev Arora at Garhshankar Local Hotel. He said that in the future also he will continue to try to provide full support to the society. Meanwhile, Chairman JB Bahl said that in order to promote eye donation, whenever you make a driving license, at that time, in the column that you want to donate eyes, please fill in yes and give your consent so that after leaving the world May your eyes also see this beautiful world. He said that eye donation is only one such donation which has to be done after death and we must fill the oath regarding eye donation while alive. On this occasion, Chairman Body Donation Dr. Tarsem Singh said that both eye donation and body donation are donations made after death and by doing them, the eyes and body of a person remain dedicated to human service even after passing away. Two people get light while children studying medical science get support in research. He said that so far 23 people have contributed to the sacrifice of human service by donating their bodies. Relatives of great people who have donated eyes and people who have received eyes were specially honored in the program. Meanwhile, the people who lit the light shared their experiences with everyone present there and told that without light this life is not life but a great curse. Therefore, they appeal to everyone to donate eyes in this great Yagya.
