SAS Nagar, October 10 - Chandigarh Group of Colleges organized a Fresher's Party at Jhanjedi Campus. On this occasion, the students who came to get education from different states of the country gave presentations of folk dances of their states.
Students enrolled in various courses gave their best performance in this party with various art forms. Famous film stars Neha Pawar, Shiv Jot, Amyra Dastur, Luv Gill and Nirman also performed on this occasion.
On this occasion, President of Chandigarh Group of Colleges Rachpal Singh Dhaliwal welcomed the new students and encouraged them to inculcate good qualities of hard work, discipline, good thinking and punctuality. CGC Jhanjedi Director Executive Dr. Neeraj Sharma said that while Jhanjedi College has the best staff and state-of-the-art labs, the management provides all kinds of help to the students to participate in education, sports and other activities.
On this occasion, Anisha and Pratham were chosen as Mr. and Miss Fresher, while Jia Mittal was chosen as Miss Charming. The main attraction of the event was gidha and bhangra performed by the students.
