Hoshiarpur - A migrant laborer father who has been wandering day and night in search of his wife and two children who have been missing for a month had to resort to the media due to no hearing from the police. Talking to reporters, Sutehri Khurd, a resident of Alipur Police Station, Sirjganj District, Lakhipur (Uttar Pradesh), son of Chaga Lal, Babu Lal, said that he is a labourer. He lived in a rented house with his two children son Prince (6), daughter Meen (5) and wife Jyoti (26). A tenant named Pooja lived in the same house. On June 6, a female tenant came to meet Pooja. On being asked, Pooja said that she is her sister and has come from Bathinda to inaugurate her house. Within a couple of days, Pooja's sister became friends with her friend Jyoti. On the morning of June 12, he left home for work. So when he came home at seven in the evening, he found that his room was locked. Jyoti and the two children are missing. After asking here and there, nothing was found. When he asked Pooja, she told that she had gone out in the afternoon. But that night, Pooja also locked her room and disappeared. Babu Lal said that he was wandering here and there in search of his wife and children. At the same time, his uncle's son asked him to check the CCTV footage of the Guru Ravidas temple. When they checked the CCTV footage of the temple, it was clearly seen that the woman, who appeared as Pooja's sister, had taken his wife and two children somewhere in an e-rickshaw. Babu Lal said that he has also filed a complaint against the said woman at Chowki Purhiran. But even after a month, the police did not take any action and the police is asking for more evidence. Babu Lal said that he is not doing any work for the last one month and he is not getting any hearing and threats are being given to him. That if he takes someone's name, he himself will be responsible for whatever happens to him. Babu Ram has appealed to the Punjab government and the police administration to find his wife and children soon.
