Police arrested 3 terrorists in Baramulla

Srinagar, September 11 After the arrest of three people in Baramulla district by the Jammu and Kashmir Police, the module related to the recruitment of terrorists has been revealed. Police sources said that acting on a tip-off, the security forces had set up a roadblock in Chak Tupper of Kriri area last evening. A police officer said that they caught three persons roaming in a suspicious manner and recovered three grenades and an AK from their possession. 30 tablets have been recovered. Police said that the arrested persons have been identified as Latif Ahmed Dar, Shaukat Ahmed Lone and Ishrat Rasool.

Police officials said that the three confessed to being associates of the terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba. The official said that during interrogation, the trio admitted that they had identified four youths in Kriri area and that they were going to induct them into the terrorist organization in the near future. All the three arrested persons were the masterminds of recruitment module in Kriri area and were also in touch with active terrorist Umar Lone and foreign terrorist Usman.
